Others Astrogrow established a partnership with the Mosier Community School three years ago to introduce children to the world of aeroponics. Students from first to sixth grade have participated in growing basil, lettuce, spinach, soy beans, tomatoes, marigolds, and kale. The Mosier Community School is almost 88 years old and rests in the heart of the Columbia River Gorge National Scenic Area. It is a charter school with about 100 students. The product from their system has been utilized in
the cafeteria where all the meals are from scratch, or sold to the
local restaurant.
